Colour temperature describes the colour of an ideal glowing blackbody: warm candlelight is about 1900 K, incandescent bulbs 2700 K, daylight 5500–6500 K and a blue sky 10000 K. RGB is estimated with Tanner Helland's approximation; mired = 1,000,000 ÷ K.
