Total cholesterol ÷ HDL below 3.5 is considered ideal and above 5 is high risk. Non-HDL = total − HDL (aim for under 130 mg/dL). If you leave LDL blank and enter triglycerides, LDL is estimated with the Friedewald formula: TC − HDL − TG/5. This is general information, not medical advice.
